We post replica guns to Western Australia from our shop at the Gold Coast War Museum in Queensland. WA and Queensland are the two states where you can own a non-firing replica without a licence, which is why they're the only states we post replica guns to.
Do I need a licence for a replica gun in WA?
No. WA's Weapons Regulations list an imitation firearm (an article that looks like a firearm but can't fire, and isn't clearly a toy) as a controlled weapon. You don't need a licence, but under the Weapons Act it's an offence to carry or possess a controlled weapon without a lawful excuse, such as collecting, or in a way that could cause fear. Keep it at home, and carry it covered.
This is general information, not legal advice. Read our guide to replica gun laws or ask WA Police if you're unsure.
