John Browning designed the pistol, and the US Army adopted it in 1911 as the M1911. The improved M1911A1 followed in the 1920s, and it stayed the US standard sidearm until 1985, when the Beretta 92, as the M9, replaced it.

Our replicas are full size and made of metal, and they field strip like the original. Choose the classic black, the chrome or gold finish, or the model with timber grips.

Add a set of .45 Auto shells and a .45 hip holster, or pair it with the Beretta M92 that replaced it.

What's the difference between the models?

The four metal replicas are the same field strippable M1911A1 in different finishes. The Colt Govt 1911 Cap Gun is a separate cap-firing model.
