Collectors Armoury is a Queensland shop, inside the Gold Coast War Museum at Mudgeeraba. Every replica gun we sell can be posted to a Queensland address with Australia Post tracking, or collected from our showroom. Long rifles are the exception: they're pick-up only.
Do I need a licence for a replica gun in Queensland?
No, not for a non-firing replica. Queensland's Weapons Act treats a replica as a copy of a weapon, but non-firing replicas aren't a licensed category, so there's no licence or registration. Queensland Police say you should have a reasonable excuse, such as collecting, store replicas securely, and carry them out of sight, for example in a bag or case. It's against the law in Queensland to sell a replica gun to anyone under 18.
This is general information, not legal advice. For the full picture and the rules in other states, read our guide to replica gun laws or check with Queensland Police.
